Review of the 34th Legal Tech Conference 2025 – Intechcore in Dialogue with the Digital Judiciary

From September 10 to 12, 2025, the 34th EDV-Gerichtstag took place in Saarbrücken – one of the most important professional conferences on the digital transformation of the judiciary in the German-speaking world.
Once again, Intechcore GmbH participated as an exhibitor and discussion partner, using the opportunity to showcase recent developments related to its text systems designed for judicial authorities, as well as its proprietary software products.

As a long-standing technology partner of the judiciary, Intechcore presented proven solutions distinguished by their security, user-friendliness, and deep integration into the judicial IT landscape.

Particular interest was shown in the latest versions of bk.text and the Java-based spreadsheet component SCell. Both systems enable judicial authorities to process text and spreadsheet data seamlessly, securely, and efficiently within their specialized applications.

Through SCell features such as chart integration, conditional formatting, and an innovative comparison tool for XLSX documents, Intechcore demonstrated how modern user experience can be harmonized with technical robustness.

A special highlight was the VorgangsManager (Case Management) for Public Prosecutor’s Offices, currently being piloted in Rhineland-Pfalz. This solution, developed by Intechcore, automates the allocation of incoming XJustiz cases, significantly reducing the administrative workload – a concrete example of how agile software development can quickly and tangibly improve daily operations within the judiciary.

Beyond the technical presentations, this year’s conference once again emphasized personal exchange. The EDV-Gerichtstag offered an excellent platform to strengthen existing partnerships, initiate new projects, and gain valuable insights from numerous professional discussions.

Particularly gratifying was the positive feedback from the Rhineland-Pfalz project partners, who expressly acknowledged the successful collaboration and progress achieved.

For the Intechcore team, the conference was an all-around success.
Logistics – from booth setup and support to the creation of live demos, product videos, and information materials – ran smoothly and professionally. New colleagues also took the opportunity to personally connect with project teams from other areas – an important aspect in times of distributed teams and digital collaboration.
A joint dinner with long-standing partners at a traditional local restaurant rounded off the event before the collected insights were evaluated in an internal retrospective and integrated into preparations for the next EDV-Gerichtstag in 2026.

Conclusion

The EDV-Gerichtstag 2025 once again underscored the importance of direct dialogue between the judiciary and technology providers for the digital future of justice.
Intechcore successfully reaffirmed its position as a reliable partner and innovator in the field of judicial IT – delivering solutions that emphasize efficiency, transparency, and user experience in equal measure.
