For the third consecutive year, Intechcore represented the interests of its B2B customers at the Polarion4U Days — this time from September 22 to 24, 2025, in Milan. Organized by Siemens Polarion, the event brought together users, manufacturers, and partners to discuss technological developments, real-world use cases, and the role of AI, cloud, and IT security in the ALM ecosystem.
Why the Polarion4U Days matter — and the role Intechcore plays
The Polarion4U Days serve as a practice-oriented meeting point for the community: product roadmaps are presented, best practices shared, and new solution approaches introduced and discussed in workshops.
For Intechcore, as a specialized Polarion partner, the event is an ideal platform to showcase the SCell spreadsheet integration, customer-centric automation solutions, and AI-based extensions in direct dialogue with users and OEMs. This very exchange between product management, implementation partners, and end users is invaluable for the success of efficient automation and migration projects.
Program highlights — what defined the days in Milan
The agenda was dense: keynotes, case studies, and intensive workshop sessions offered a comprehensive view of current topics such as AI integration, cloud scaling of Polarion X, and regulatory requirements for software-defined products.
- The keynote addressed the convergence of AI, cybersecurity, and cloud as key drivers for the development of software-driven products — a recurring theme throughout many sessions.
- Concrete insights into product roadmaps were provided in sessions such as “Polarion 2506 / Scalable Architecture”, which covered key aspects of cluster architectures and cloud operating models. These topics are particularly relevant for organizations running large, distributed Polarion instances.
- AI and Generative AI for regulated industries was a central workshop theme (e.g., XLM.AI by HCLTech), including use cases such as requirements authoring, test case generation, and traceability analysis. HCLTech
- Practice-oriented customer sessions (e.g., SBB, Ducati, Luna Rossa, Hitachi Rail) delivered tangible examples of how Polarion is used in tender management, MBSE, cyber risk management, and compliance — areas where Intechcore regularly addresses complex integration requirements. polarion.plm.automation.siemens.com
Impressions from our on-site sales team
Our sales colleague summarized the atmosphere and value for Intechcore succinctly: high attendance, fully booked workshops, intensive knowledge exchange, and valuable networking opportunities — especially during the evening event at Villa Campari, which provided space for informal discussions and follow-up meetings.
Many conversations led directly to concrete next steps, such as SCell demos and project calls. These impressions align with feedback from other partners, who also reported a highly active and engaged community. Nextedy+1
Sessions with direct relevance for our customers
From our customers’ perspective, three key topic areas stood out:
- AI-supported ALM workflows (e.g., DRIM, XLM.AI, AI Guidance): Tools that automatically assess requirements, suggest test cases, or provide contextual UI guidance can significantly increase user acceptance and reduce rework cycles. Intechcore is already evaluating these technologies in internal proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Scalability and cloud architecture (Polarion 2506 / Polarion X): Large enterprise customers benefit from the robustness and cluster designs presented in Milan — particularly relevant for migrations or enterprise-wide Polarion deployments. We support customers in selecting the appropriate transformation strategy (on-prem → cloud / cluster). polarion.plm.automation.siemens.com
- Regulatory compliance and cyber resilience (CRA, SBOM, threat & risk): Workshops demonstrated how Polarion can be used to meet CRA requirements, manage SBOMs, and document integrated threat and risk analyses — a clear focus for safety- and security-critical industries. Intechcore consistently combines such functional requirements with its expertise in data protection and security.
What Intechcore showcased at Polarion4U — SCell & integration stories
Intechcore used its presence at the event to position SCell as a key solution for seamless spreadsheet editing within Polarion. Discussions confirmed that users particularly value the ability to manage long-running tender processes, table-based reporting, or Excel-driven workflows directly in Polarion, rather than distributing data across multiple tools — a best practice also highlighted in the SBB session.
Our SCell demo opened the door to numerous concrete follow-up meetings.

IT security and data protection — a unifying element of our work
Across all automation and AI initiatives, compliance remains non-negotiable for us. The Polarion4U sessions on cybersecurity, CRA, and SBOM reinforced the need to link requirements with auditable processes and traceable artifacts.
Intechcore combines two critical aspects here: technical integrations and organizational/legal safeguards (e.g., project-specific confidentiality measures and sworn personnel in judicial projects). This approach strengthens our customers’ trust in the operationally secure implementation of new functionalities.
Key learnings & recommendations for our customers
- Evaluate where AI assistants (requirement assessment, test generation, embedded guidance) can deliver real value — start with a small pilot project. HCLTech
- Consider scalability requirements early in migration projects (cluster architecture, cloud readiness). polarion.plm.automation.siemens.com
- Integrate vulnerability and SBOM workflows into your requirements management to minimize regulatory risk.
- Use SCell to replace time-consuming Excel cycles directly within Polarion — reducing tool fragmentation and improving traceability.
Differentiation from existing website content
This report complements our existing competence and project pages: rather than merely listing our solutions (e.g., SCell, REST API integrations, migration projects), this article provides event-based insights, concrete session references, and immediate learnings from Milan.
For more in-depth information on our products and projects, we additionally refer to our existing pages (SCell, REST API, Information Security Policy), which offer more detailed technical documentation and product descriptions.
Further existing content:
- Our SCell product page (product details & demo request)
- Blog post: Intechcore at the Siemens PLM Connection 2025 (additional event experience)
- Information security policy and project compliance notes

Conclusion and outlook
The Polarion4U Days 2025 confirmed that the community continues to grow and that innovations — particularly in AI and cloud scalability — are becoming operational and delivering tangible value for ALM processes.
For Intechcore, the days in Milan were especially valuable as they enabled direct validation of our SCell roadmap and integration approaches against real market needs. Numerous discussions resulted in concrete follow-ups — a clear signal to further accelerate our PoCs and customer projects in the coming months. Nextedy
If desired, we would be happy to prepare a short, customer-specific presentation — for example, an SCell proof of value, a feasibility analysis for Polarion cloud operations, or an evaluation of which AI use cases make the most sense for your projects.
